Attack Runes need a damage rework Right now spells are simply superior to runes in every aspect. Spells have ~1s cooldown, while attack runes have ~1.5s cooldown. Runes must be bought or crafted, have weight, and take inventory space. Spells only cost mana. Despite all these disadvantages, runes deal less damage and scale almost only with magic level instead of character level. This leads to very linear gameplay: Knights use only Exori Ico for single target and Exori for AoE. Paladins quickly rely only on Exori Con and later the holy UE. Mages spam Exori Vis/Frigo and rarely use SDs or other runes. Runes become dead content. Attack rune damage should scale strongly with character level, not just magic level, and ideally compensate for their higher cooldown and resource cost. Otherwise spells will always be the only optimal choice. Best regars, Wheely |

agree that the lvl should influence the dmg of the runes more. The absence of using any runes meaningful was also a reason why i play sorc again. |
